So my German Shepherd and I play a fun game every spring where he digs massive holes and I fill them in. However, today, this little bundle of energy I’ve named Rhonda, discovered them and thinks they’re great fun. But she doesn’t want to share with Stuart, the other new temp puppy. I watched the game “Stay out of my hole!” for two hours today. They were having fun, but I needed a nap by the end of it.
Getting to know our new foster puppies is always one of the most fun parts of this process. You make an assumption, and more often than not, they prove you wrong an hour later. In this case, I thought the tan one was going to be the pup that always wanted attention and the black and white would be more independent, at least that’s the way it played out yesterday. Today tan is content to do its own thing, while black and white doesn’t want me more than 3 feet away at any given time.
I played with your heart, got lost in the game
I posted a photo of me and Bartholomew 8 or 9 days ago. Go check it out. He’s doubled his size. And I don’t know if his name is Bartholomew, but I bought him for @lanerdfarm daughter and since she named my dog, I’m naming her duck. He still largely treats me like a moron and says he can’t tell if I’m a boy or a girl in my purple shirt, so it’s just like 1985 at Nana’s house all over again.
